Announcement of the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council on Adding Tariffs to Imported Goods Originating from the United States of About US$16 Billion
According to the “Notice of the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council on Adding Tariffs to Imports of US$50 Billion Imported Goods” (Announcement of the Taxation Committee [2018] No. 5), the relevant adjustments to the list of tariffed goods in the US and Canada are now announced as follows:
1. For commodities subject to the tariff list of the US and Canada, the annex to this announcement shall prevail, and the tariff shall be imposed from 12:01 on August 23, 2018.
2. Other matters shall be implemented in accordance with the Notice of the Taxation Committee [2018] No. 5.
